In today's edition, we'll focus on updating APT to version 2.4.12  from version 2.4.11 on Ubuntu 22.04

    • Open a terminal on your Ubuntu system and run the following command “apt --version
    • This command will show the current version of APT installed on your Ubuntu system. Verify that the output displays "2.4.11" as the version.

1. Download from Ubuntu Repository

  • Open a terminal and update your package repository by running the following command: “sudo apt update
  • Upgrade apt to the latest version using the following command: “sudo apt upgrade apt
